PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To update reference image data with use of measurement image data for enabling correct measurement of inspection parameters.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus 100 that can be applied to home medical care generates image data on the basis of a reception signal obtained by ultrasonic wave transmission/reception with respect to a subject.
