PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite weight which prevents used scenes from being reduced as much as possible and hardly causes snagging.SOLUTION: A composite weight (10) is used by being connected to a fishing line (20) and has a spindle shape as a whole. The composite weight (10) comprises a buoyancy body (15) located on the fishing line (20) side and a metal weight body (11) located on the side opposite to the fishing line (20) side with respect to the buoyancy body (15). The buoyancy body (15) is formed so that the specific gravity of a part in the vicinity of the fishing line (20) side end is smaller than that of the other part.
