PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a model fish appropriate for, for instance, examining medicaments effective for human ADPKD (autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease).SOLUTION: The model fish is a gene recombinant small fish obtained by transferring the mutant gene of a PKD2 gene so as to enable the dominant negative effect to be expressed. This fish is to be used as a model small fish with polycystic kidney disease.
