An apparatus for deployment of a system of guide wires within a cardiac chamber includes an introducer catheter having two or more penetrating lumens in which at least two first guide catheters are positioned. These guide catheters have respective deflectable or deflectable distal ends configured to exit from the distal ends of the respective guide wires disposed in the guide catheters toward the capture member of the capture system provided in the introducer catheter. The capture system may optionally be withdrawn from the introducer catheter and retracted into the introducer catheter.
