Disclosed herein is a plant disease control composition comprising a carboxamide compound of formula (I), wherein R1 represents a hydrogen atom or methyl group, and R2 represents a methyl group, a difluoromethyl group or a trifluoromethyl group, and one or more azole compounds selected from group (A) consisting of propiconazole, prothioconazole, triadimenol, prochloraz, penconazole, tebuconazole, flusilazole, diniconazole, bromuconazole, epoxiconazole, difenoconazole, cyproconazole, metconazole, triflumizole, tetraconazole, myclobutanil, fenbuconazole, hexaconazole, fluquinconazole, triticonazole, bitertanol, imazalil, IPconazole, simeconazole, hymexazol, etridiazole and flutriafol and a method for controlling plant disease which comprises treating a plant, or soil where a plant grows, with an effective amount of said composition.
