FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, mechanism for orienting of beet parent plants before feeding thereof into cones of planting wheels within planting machine. ^ SUBSTANCE: mechanism for orienting of sugar beet parent plants is formed as inclined board arranged between hopper chute and mechanism for placing of parent plants within planting wheels of planting machine. Said board consists of two parts narrowing toward exit. Said parts are freely conjugated and inclined at different angles relative to horizontal plane. First part is inclined at an angle exceeding by 5-10% an angle of rest of pit for parent plants. First part is equipped with vibrator and is spring-loaded. Second part of board is arranged at an angle equal to or exceeding said angle of rest by at least 5-10% and is divided into two branches terminating in cylindrical troughs, which are communicating with accumulating pipes of planting wheels.
