PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical spreader which enables efficiently and accurately performing operation of chemical spraying to soil at positions where crop seedlings are planted or to the periphery of the planted crop seedlings with one-touch operation in a standing attitude while reducing a physical burden. SOLUTION: The chemical spreader includes a support body 3 having an inlet 31 and an outlet 32, a sliding body 5 having a measuring and retaining part 51, an operation member 8 mounted to the sliding body 5, a chemical tank 1 storing a chemical P, and a ground contact member 44 attached to the support body 3. The sliding body 5 is vertically slidable between an inflow position where the measuring and retaining part 51 communicates with the inlet 31 and the chemical P from the chemical tank 1 flows into the measuring and retaining part 51 and an outflow position where the measuring and retaining part 51 communicates with the outlet 32 and the chemical P in the measuring and retaining part 51 flows out.
