PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material capable of improving medium property and emergence rate for artificially cultivating Lyophyllum decastes. SOLUTION: A Lyophyllum decastes basidiocarp emergence rate improver essentially comprises an alkaline earth metal compound (excluding magnesium sulfate and calcium carbonate) containing no aluminum. The 2nd objective artificial cultivation medium for Lyophyllum decastes contains the above improver. The 3rd objective method for artificially cultivating Lyophyllum decastes or a method for improving the emergence rate of Lyophyllum decastes basidiocarp comprises using the above improver or the artificial cultivation medium. Thus, regardless of strain, humic base material quality, and use or nonuse of such humic base material, high-quality Lyophyllum decastes can be obtained in high yield.
