The present invention relates to a deodorant agents utilizing red clay as a main material and a manufacturing method thereof which improves a bonding force between red clay particles and allows red clay to easily adhere on the surface of vermiculite by adding ether derivatives of cellulose and a glue paste of sticky rice into red clay while utilizing red clay float-filtered with a filter of 800 meshes or greater as a main material; maintains the connection of the red clay particles with fibers of Hanji (Korean traditional paper); stably maintains the surface flatness of the red clay mixture and reduces the weight of the deodorant agents made of red clay and vermiculite by adding weight-lightening agents; and facilitates the injection of the red clay mixture simultaneously with preventing the decomposition of the deodorant agents by adding sodium hydroxide. To achieve the purpose, the deodorant agents of the present invention is produced by stirring the red clay mixture which 0.3-6 wt% of a water-soluble polymer induced by an etherification reaction of cellulose, 3-8 wt% of Hanji, 1-40 wt% of the weight-lightening agents, 20-30 wt% of the glue paste of sticky rice, 0.1-2 wt% of sodium hydroxide, and 100-200 wt% of water in respect to 100 wt% of the red clay dried after being float-filtered with a filter of 800 meshes in the water are uniformly mixed and vermiculite at a weight rate of 1:1 and drying.
