PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus for easily confirming if measurement time is appropriate for a biological signal waveform input in real-time from a biological signal sensor attached to a subject.SOLUTION: A measurement control unit performs imaging sequence for measuring a nuclear magnetic resonance signal generated by a subject in applying a static magnetic field, a gradient magnetic field, and a high frequency magnetic field to the subject. The measurement control unit inputs a biological signal from a biological signal sensor attached to the subject, repeats processing for displaying a biological signal waveform 203 corresponding to at least one cycle on a synchronization measurement monitor 20a, calculates measurement time 208 related to synchronization measurement based on an imaging parameter to be set, and displays a display of a part corresponding to the measurement time of the biological signal waveform on a synchronization measurement waveform 201 in a manner to be different from the other waveform parts.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
