PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a three-dimensional region of interest (ROI) by using morphing processing.SOLUTION: A three-dimensional ROI generating part 20 sets a three-dimensional region of interest enclosing an object in a three-dimensional image data to be formed by an ultrasonic image forming part 14. That is, a reference cross section setting part 22 sets a plurality of reference cross sections in a three-dimensional data space, a two-dimensional ROI setting part 24 sets two-dimensional regions of interest with respect to each one of the plurality of reference cross sections, and then, a morphing processing part 26 performs the morphing processing with respect to the plurality of two-dimensional regions of interest set with respect to the plurality of reference cross sections.
