An aerosol composition for body care, comprising: a) at least one propellant, selected from propane, n-butane, isobutane, n-pentane or isopentane, and b) a composition A, comprising (i) at least one perspiration-inhibiting antiperspirant active ingredient, selected from astringent aluminium salts, preferably from aluminium chlorohydrate, aluminium sesquichlorohydrate and/or aluminium chloride, (ii) at least one hydrophobized clay material, selected from montmorrillonites, hectorites and/or bentonites, and (iii) propylene carbonate, preferably wherein the weight ratio of propylene carbonate (iii) to the hydrophobized clay material (ii) is 1.75:1.00 to 2.00:1.00. Further disclosed is a cosmetic use of a mixture of propylene carbonate (iii) and at least one hydrophobized clay material (ii) at a weight ratio of (iii):(ii) of 1.75:1.00 to 2.00:1.00 in antiperspirant aerosol compositions for improving the delivery rate of the antiperspirant active ingredient(s) when sprayed onto the skin, and to a cosmetic, non-therapeutic method for reducing or masking body odour in which the aforementioned aerosol composition is sprayed onto the skin.
