PURPOSE: A sea mustard stem shredder is provided to automatically shred several sea mustard stems transferred by a transport unit in a longitudinal direction. CONSTITUTION: A first transport unit(300) transfers sea mustard stems after gripping one end part. A guide plate(400) is extended and formed in parallel with the transferring direction. A first shredding unit(510) shreds the other end part of the transferred sea mustard stems in a longitudinal direction. A second shredding unit(700) shreds one end part of the transferred sea mustard stems in a longitudinal direction. The first transport unit equipped with a first chain unit(310), a second chain unit(320), and a presser unit. The first shredding unit comprises a first rotary shaft(511), a first cutting edge(515), a first shredding drum(512), and a second shredding drum(513) formed with a second cutting knife(516), and a first driving unit(514) which rotates the first rotary shaft. The second transport unit comprises a third chain unit(610), a fourth chain unit(620), and a second rotary unit which operates the third and fourth chain units. A second shredding unit comprises a second rotary shaft, a fourth shredding drum(712) formed with a fifth cutting knife(714), and a fourth driving unit which rotates a second rotary shaft.본 발명은 미역줄기 세절기에 관한 것으로서, 메인프레임과, 메인프레임에 설치되어 미역줄기의 일단부를 파지하여 이송시키는 제1이송부와, 제1이송부에 의해 이송되는 미역줄기를 지지할 수 있도록 제1이송부를 중심으로 일측의 메인프레임에 설치되되, 미역줄기의 이송방향과 나란하게 연장형성된 가이드플레이트와, 제1이송부에 의해 이송되는 미역줄기의 타단부를 길이방향으로 세절하는 제1세절부와, 미역줄기의 이송방향을 기준으로 제1이송부의 후방측 메인프레임에 설치되되, 제1이송부의 일측으로 이격되게 설치되어 미역줄기의 타단부를 파지하여 이송시키는 제2이송부와, 제2이송부에 의해 이송되는 미역줄기의 일단부를 길이방향으로 세절하는 제2세절부를 구비한다. 본 발명에 따른 미역줄기 세절기는 이송부에 의해 이송되는 다수의 미역줄기를 세절부에 의해 자동으로 세절하므로 미역줄기를 세절하는 데 있어 작업속도 및 작업효율이 향상되는 장점이 있다.
