The present invention provides an aldehyde deodorant which has a high deodorizing performance for an aldehyde, is difficult to a color change by alkali and has a water resistance. Also, the object of the present invention provides deodorant processing products such as a fiber, coating, sheet, and molded article which are capable of an excellent deodorizing performance by using the deodorants.A deodorant for an aldehyde-based gas of the present invention is characterized by supporting hydrazides compounds on an aluminum/phosphorus-based amorphous carrier. Also, a preferable method for producing the deodorant for an aldehyde-based gas is a production method which comprises:a preparation step for preparing a reaction liquid comprising a water-soluble salt of aluminum and a phosphoric acid an addition step in which alkali is added to the reaction liquid so as to make the pH value of the reaction liquid to 9 -11 and an aluminum/phosphorus-based amorphous carrier is obtained and a supporting step for supporting hydrazides compounds on an aluminum/phosphorus-based amorphous carrier.本發明係提供一種醛去臭性能高、不易因鹼而變色,且具有耐水性之醛去臭劑,又,本發明目的在於提供一種使用該去臭劑等而可發揮優良去臭性能之纖維、塗料、片體、成形品等之去臭加工製品。本發明醛系氣體去臭劑係以使鋁/磷系非晶質載體載持醯肼類化合物為特徵。又,本發明醛系氣體去臭劑之較佳製造方法係包含以下步驟之製造方法:調製步驟,調製含有鋁之水溶性鹽與磷酸的反應液;添加步驟,對前述反應液添加鹼以使前述反應液之pH達9~11之間,而製得鋁/磷系非晶質載體;及載持步驟,係使前述鋁/磷系非晶質載體載持醯肼類化合物。
