PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a comparatively nice and soft wearing article, in which even an aged person, having relatively weak force, easily pulls a waist opening in the transverse direction to widen the waist opening to a desired size, and also, the waist region is prevented from slipping down during use of the wearing article.SOLUTION: Waist elastic elements 36 are formed by a strand or string shape elastic member stretched in the transverse direction X at a stretch ratio in a range of about 2.5 to 3.0 and having thickness in a range of about 850 to 1,000 dtex, and a separation dimension in the vertical direction Y between the waist elastic elements 36 mutually adjacent in the transverse direction X is in a range of about 5.5 to 6.0 mm. Each of waist elastic regions 38, in which the waist elastic elements 36 are arranged, has a tensile stress at a moment of 255% stretching in the transverse direction X in a range of about 4.5 to 6.0 N/35 mm, and a tensile stress at a moment of 167% stretching in the transverse direction X is at least in a range of about 1.7 to 2.1 N/35 mm.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】比較的に腕力の低い高齢者であっても容易にウエスト開口を横方向へ引っ張ってウエスト開口を所要の大きさに拡げることができ、また、その着用中において、ウエスト域がずり下がったりするおそれのない、比較的に肌当たりの良い着用物品。【解決手段】ウエスト弾性要素36は、約2.5~3.0倍に前記横方向Xへ伸長された、太さが約850~1000dtexのストランド状又はストリング状の弾性部材から形成されており、横方向Xにおいて互いに隣り合うウエスト弾性要素36どうしの縦方向Yにおける離間寸法は約5.5~6.0mmである。ウエスト弾性要素36が配設されたウエスト伸縮域38は、横方向Xにおける255%伸長時の伸長応力が約4.5~6.0N/35mmであって、横方向Xにおける167%伸長時の伸長応力が少なくとも約1.7~2.1N/35mmである。【選択図】図2
