PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine the degree of adverse effect on visual performance using only a tomogram of an eye part by quantifying the positional relationship with a predetermined region or the distribution state of lesions and provide the result of the determination as diagnosis support information.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus includes: an acquisition unit for acquiring a tomogram of an eye part of a patient an information acquisition unit for acquiring information for a predetermined region and positional information for a predetermined tissue structure from the tomogram and a calculation unit for calculating an evaluation value from the relationship between the information for the predetermined region and the position for the predetermined tissue structure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
