PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge device such that the discharge electrode is difficult to be touched with a finger and easily cleaned.SOLUTION: A discharge device comprises: a casing 40; a substrate 31 that is housed into an inner part of the casing 40; discharge electrodes 11 and 12 that are held to the substrate 31 so that a tip part is projected to an outer part of the casing 40 and generates a discharge; an insulation sealing part M that insulates and seals the substrate 31 in the inner part of the casing 40; and an electrode protection part 20 for protecting the discharge electrodes 11 and 12 in the outer part of the casing 40. In the casing 40, a tip part side of the discharge electrodes 11 and 12 is inserted, and an opening part 44 sealed by the insulation sealing part M is provided. The electrode protection part 20 is provided so as to be more projected from the tip part of the discharge electrodes 11 and 12 from the casing 40, and includes a first protection part 21 and a second protection part 22 which are opposite with an interval on both sides of the discharge electrodes 11 and 12.
