PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resistance rod of a walking type farm work machine having excellent workability in a slope land and capable of changing a direction easily.SOLUTION: A resistance rod 10 can be attached in a rear part of a walking type farm work machine 1 capable of performing tillage work by rotation drive of a tillage shaft 3 including tillage jaws 4. The resistance rod includes: a resistance rod body 11 formed in a bent shape and including an attachment part 12 to the walking type farm work machine 1 and a pressure receiving member 20 attached rotatably in a lower part of the resistance rod body 11.
