PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable wearing article to be hardly stuffed with steam by securing the ventilation in waist panels.SOLUTION: The diaper 10 includes: front and rear waist panels 20 and 30 and a crotch panel 40 attached to the front and rear waist panels 20 and 30. The front and rear waist panels 20 and 30 include: first and second inner surface sheets 21 and 31 first and second outer surface sheets 22 and 32 and first and second leakage-preventive sheets 23 and 33 located between the sheets 21 and 22 and between the sheets 31 and 32. The first and second leakage preventive sheets 23 and 33 are joined to the first and second inner and outer surface sheets 21 and 31 via joint regions 90. The joint region 90 includes a plurality of lines of joint parts 91 continuously extending in a lateral direction X, and non-joint parts 92 located between the joint parts 91 and continuously extending in the lateral direction X.
