Provided is an ultrasound probe, including: a transmitting unit that transmits an ultrasound wave in response to an input of a transmitting signal which is an electric signal； a receiving unit that generates a receiving signal by converting a reflected wave of the transmitted ultrasound wave into an electric signal； an amplifying unit that amplifies the receiving signal； and a signal switching unit that interrupts the amplifying unit, while the transmitting signal is being transmitted and connects the amplifying unit while the transmitting signal is not transmitted.
