PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protein that elicits an immune response specific for cancer cells (homology and heterogeneity) of an origin tissue/organ.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, cancer cells treated with cisplatin, paclitaxel, gemcitabine, mycobacterium w, or a combination thereof show an altered protein profile. Such altered protein profiles have at least one commonly expressed or overexpressed protein. Commonly expressed or overexpressed proteins elicit immune responses specific for cancer cells (homology and heterogeneity) in the origin tissue/organ.
