A high structural strength laryngoscope and a method for manufacturing the same are described. The laryngoscope includes a handle and a blade. The blade is connected to one end of the handle, and is configured to apply a force toward a direction. The blade includes a cover and a light-guiding bar. The cover includes a first sidewall, a second sidewall, an accommodation portion, and a plurality of ribs. The first sidewall and the second sidewall are opposite to each other. The accommodation portion is located between the first sidewall and the second sidewall, in which the accommodation portion has a cavity closely adjacent to the second sidewall. The ribs extend from the first sidewall to the cavity.
