This apparatus relates to an agricultural implement specifically intended to mechanize the labor-intensive manual loading of sugarcane onto delivery trucks. The equipment is composed of frame, throw-arm assembly, height adjustment mechanism, and transmission system, powered by 5 horsepower air-cooled gasoline engine. The apparatus is used by placing it beside the delivery vehicle and starting its engine. The throttle is then set to the optimum speed wherein the equipment can successfully throw the sugarcane stalks to the delivery vehicle. The desirable rotational speed to successfully load the stalks is attained through a series of transmission system coupled to the engine. The reciprocating motion of the throw-arm assembly is triggered by the sugarcane loaded to the equipment. The sugarcane loader is equipped with screw-type jack allowing variable adjustment for different delivery vehicle height. In addition, standard caster wheels are installed at the base of the machine for improved maneuverability during field operation.
