PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a root vegetable row detection device of root vegetable harvester, which can prevent the entwinement of impurities such as stems and leaves in a simple structure capable of reducing conditions for controlling a sensor as much as possible, and can improve followingness to ground loads from ridges to enhance the accuracy of root vegetable row detection.SOLUTION: This root vegetable row detector of root vegetable harvester is characterized in that each of contact arms 3 has elasticity capable of absorbing upward pressing force added from ridges, has a contact point 32 extended in a right or left inside direction at a prescribed downward inclination angle and a curved portion 31 curved in a right and left outside direction from the contact point 32, rotates the curved portion 31 in a right or left outside direction with the contact force to transmit the rotation displacement to a displacement sensor 5A, when the contact point 32 comes into contact with the head side of a root vegetable, and absorbs pressing force with the elasticity of the curved portion 31 not to transmit the pressing force to the displacement sensor 5A, when the contact point 32 comes into contact with the head portion of a root vegetable.COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT【課題】 センサの調整条件を極力減らせる簡易な構造にすることで茎葉等の夾雑物の絡まりを防止するとともに、畝からの接地負荷に対する追従性を高めることにより、根菜類列の検知精度を高めることができる根菜類収穫機の根菜類列検知装置を提供する。【解決手段】 接触アーム3は、畝から受ける上方向の押圧力を吸収し得る弾性力を備えているとともに、所定の下向傾斜角で左右の内側方向に延設された接触先端部32と、この接触先端部32から左右の外側方向に湾出された湾曲部31とを有しており、接触先端部32が根菜類の頭側部に当接した場合、その当接力により湾曲部31を左右の外側方向に回動させてその回動変位を変位センサ5Aに伝達し、接触先端部32が畝に接触して下方から押圧された場合、その押圧力を湾曲部31の弾性力によって吸収して変位センサ5Aに伝達しないように構成されている。【選択図】 図2
