PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balloon catheter in which fixing strength between a balloon and an outer shaft is improved without increasing an outer diameter at a fixing part between the balloon and the outer shaft.SOLUTION: In a balloon catheter 1, an inner projection part 72 of a balloon 10 is disposed in a gap part 81 of an outer shaft 20, and an outer projection part 80 of the outer shaft 20 is disposed in a gap part 71 of the balloon 10. By engaging a rear end 12 of the balloon 10 and a distal end 21 of the outer shaft 20 with each other, a fixing area between the balloon 10 and the outer shaft 20 can be easily widened, and fixing strength between the balloon 10 and the outer shaft 20 can be improved without increasing an outer diameter at a fixing part 14 between the balloon 10 and the outer shaft 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
