Le mélange dadditifs assure aux carburants et aux lubrifiants une activité biocide et anticorrosive, en particulier lorsquils renferment des proportions de matières premières renouvelables, par exemple des biocarburants, et lorsquils sont en contact avec des surfaces contenant du cuivre.
