PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily set a lighting field of AEC (automatic exposure control) in long-length imaging.SOLUTION: A lighting field selecting circuit selects AEC detection signals from detection pixels used for AEC on the basis of a spine lighting field map 85 for defining parts such as spine and waist as lighting field regions 87, 88 or a lower extremity lighting field map 86 defining parts such as waist, both knees and both ankles as lighting field regions 89, 90, 91.
