A blood flow measuring apparatus includesa sensor unit including a light emitter configuredto emit light onto a measurement area and a lightreceiver configured to receive the light transmittedthrough the measurement area; at least one morelight receiver configured to receive the lighttransmitted through the measurement area; and acontrol part configured to measure a blood flowstate of the measurement area according to signalsoutputted by the light receivers. The light emittedby the light emitter is received by the lightreceivers arranged at different distances from thelight emitter and the light receivers output thesignals responsive to the received light. Thecontrol part measures the blood flow state of themeasurement area by performing an arithmetic processto cancel a component of oxygen saturation in theblood, said component being included in the signalsoutputted by the light receivers.
