PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To grasp from which of a plurality examination results a disease name is judged and registered, and to eliminate the need to use only a disease name as key information.SOLUTION: An electronic medical chart device which supports registration of a diagnostic disease name stores a result of examination carried out on a first patient to be diagnosed. When a user who refers to the stored information diagnoses one disease from the first patient, the name of the one disease, examination items on which the diagnosis of the one disease is based, and examination results of the examination items are received, and respective pieces of the received information are related to create a disease name knowledge table including respective pieces of the related information. The created disease name knowledge table is stored.
