Oil/water cosmetic emulsion according to the invention, containing essential oil, plant oils, moisturizing substances, is characterized by containing 0.1 to 1% by weight of lavender essential oil from the cultivar 'Munstead' of lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) grown in in vitro tissue cultures on MS culture medium enriched with 2 mg·dm-3 kinetin, 0.2 mg·dm-3 indolyl-3-acetic acid and 0.2 mg·dm-3 jasmonic acid.
