There is provided a treatment device for disinfecting a fluid being configured as a conduit for conveying a flow of fluid to be treated, said device being toroidal-shaped with an inner concave parabolic surface, wherein the device is provided with apertures extending from the outer to the inner surface of the toroidal-shaped device；one or more UV LED(s) provided in the apertures thereby enabling emitted light to be transmitted through the apertures into the interior part of the device for disinfecting said fluid；a power source for powering the UV LEDs,wherein the inner surface is made from a light reflecting material, and the apertures are sealed in the ends extending into the interior part of the device by a UV-transparent material.L'invention concerne un dispositif de traitement pour la désinfection d'un fluide, qui est configuré sous la forme d'une conduite pour le transport d'un courant du fluide à traiter, ledit dispositif étant de forme toroïdale avec une surface intérieure parabolique concave, le dispositif étant muni d'ouvertures qui s'étendent de la surface extérieure à la surface intérieure du dispositif de forme toroïdale ； d'une ou de plusieurs LED UV disposées dans les ouvertures et permettant à la lumière émise d'être transmise par les ouvertures dans la partie intérieure du dispositif pour désinfecter ledit fluide ； d'une source d'alimentation pour alimenter les LED UV, la surface intérieure étant fabriquée en un matériau réfléchissant la lumière et les ouvertures étant scellées au niveau des extrémités qui s'étendent dans la partie intérieure du dispositif par un matériau transparent aux UV.
