PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent uneven placing of culture soil and seeds in seedling grow boxes in a seedling grow box-conveying device by suppressing abrasion of a conveyor on the side of a seeding machine, a rapid traverse conveyor or the bottom faces of the seedling grow boxes as well as impact to the seedling grow boxes.SOLUTION: The seedling grow box-conveying device includes the conveyor (103) on the side of the seeding machine for driving and conveying the seedling grow boxes on a seeding device, a free conveyor (148) for conveying without driving the seedling grow boxes following the seeding machine side conveyor (103), and the rapid traverse conveyor (147) for driving and conveying the seedling grow boxes in a high speed higher than the conveying speed of the seeding machine side conveyor (103) following the free conveyor (148), wherein the length of the free conveyor (148) is brought to be shorter than the length of the seedling grow box in the transport direction.【課題】 本発明は、育苗箱搬送装置において、播種機側コンベヤ、早送りコンベヤ又は育苗箱の底面の摩耗を抑えると共に、育苗箱への衝撃を抑え、育苗箱内で培土や種子が偏るのを防止することを課題とする。【解決手段】 播種設備上で育苗箱を駆動搬送する播種機側コンベヤ（１０３）と、該播種機側コンベヤ（１０３）に続いて育苗箱を非駆動で搬送するフリーコンベヤ（１４８）と、該フリーコンベヤ（１４８）に続いて前記播種機側コンベヤ（１０３）の搬送速度よりも高速で育苗箱を駆動搬送する早送りコンベヤ（１４７）を設け、前記フリーコンベヤ（１４８）の長さを、育苗箱の搬送方向の長さよりも短く設定した育苗箱搬送装置とした。【選択図】 図１０
