Said plate (11) is pivotably connected to respective arms (12) that are coplanar with (9) and (2). The free ends (12a) of the arm (12) are linked to the respective lateral sections (10, 10') of the chassis and both arms (12) are pivotably connected at (15a) to respective hydraulic pistons (15), the other end of which is pivotably connected at (15b) to a telescopically moveable section (2'). This assembly has at least one tank or hopper (4) that is arranged on the support area provided by the undercarriage (3) linked to the central section (9) of the chassis and the fixed jib portion (2). The hydraulic pistons (15) are designed to fold the lateral sections (10, 10') of the chassis into a transport position, ensuring the chassis (9) has a minimum width compatible with highway regulations.
