According to an embodiment of the present invention, a sensor for measuring blood oxygen saturation comprises: a PCB electrically interconnecting semiconductor components； a chip including a light receiving unit (PD) and a light emitting unit (LED) provided in the PCB； a dam protruding between the PD and the LED using a black epoxy molding compound (EMC)； a gold wire connecting the chip and an electrode of the PCB； and a protective film formed to protect the chip and the gold wire.본 발명의 실시예에 따른 혈중 산소포화도 측정센서에 있어서, 반도체 부품을 전기적으로 상호 연결시키는 부품인 PCB； 상기 PCB에 구비되는 수광부(PD), 발광부(LED)를 포함하는 칩； 상기 수광부와 발광부 사이에 블랙EMC(EPOXY MOLDING COMPUND)를 이용해 돌출 형성되는 댐； 상기 칩과 PCB의 전극을 연결하는 골드와이어 및 상기 칩과 골드와이어를 보호하도록 형성되는 보호막을 포함하는 혈중 산소포화도 측정센서 및 이의 제조방법을 제공할 수 있다.
