PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical instrument that can reduce possibility to cause an exposure of fluid in a fluid connection state with other medical instrument, even if the other medical instrument comes off unintentionally.SOLUTION: A medical instrument includes a spike having a central axis extending from a base end to a tip and a communication port, a valve body having a top surface and capable of being contracted by elastic deformation in an axial direction along the central axis, a base tube, and a front tube capable of connecting other valve bodies and other medical instruments having other internal flow paths and guided by the base tube. The valve body is configured such that the other medical instrument is connected to the front tube, the other valve body comes in abutment with the top surface of the valve body, the spike penetrates through both of the top surface of the valve body and the other valve body, and the other medical instrument comes off from the front tube in a fluid connection state where the communication port comes in communication with the other internal flow path, and thereby it is extensible until the top surface exceeds the communication port to the side of the tip in the axial direction by the restoration from the elastic deformation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2COPYRIGHT: (C)2020,JPO&INPIT【課題】他の医療器具との流体接続状態において他の医療器具が意図せずに外れた場合でも、流体の曝露を生じる可能性を低減できる医療器具を提供する。【解決手段】医療器具は、基端から先端まで延在する中心軸線と連通口とを有するスパイクと、天面を有するとともに前記中心軸線に沿う軸方向に弾性変形によって収縮可能な弁体と、基筒と、他の弁体及び他の内部流路を有する他の医療器具を接続可能であるとともに前記基筒に案内される先筒と、を備え、前記弁体は、前記先筒に前記他の医療器具が接続され、前記弁体の前記天面に前記他の弁体が当接し、前記スパイクが前記弁体の前記天面と前記他の弁体との両方を貫通して前記連通口が前記他の内部流路に連通した流体接続状態において前記他の医療器具が前記先筒から外れることで、弾性変形からの復元により、前記天面が前記連通口を前記軸方向の前記先端の側に越えるまで伸長可能である。【選択図】図２
