PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a float stopper capable of freely setting the length of a guided under-float line and reducing the length of the under-float line in uptake operation.SOLUTION: An inside-through float body 30 through which a main line 50 is passed includes a projection 34 at the lower edge of a float, and is configured so that a stopper 40 with an insert hole 41 can be inserted and set to the lower hole of the inside through portion. A fishing line is passed through the inside through-hole, wound on a line catch claw at the lower edge of the hole, and passed through the insert hole 41 of the stopper 40, and the stopper is then pushed and fixed into a stopper insert hole of the float body and set while adjusting the length of the under-float line of a hook rig. When a fish is caught, the stopper is pulled out by the force of the fishing line acting on the stopper, so that the float can be moved to the position of a swivel close to the tip of the hook rig.
