PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label for horticulture, having rigidity and strength acceptable for insertion into soil, not requiring disposal and recycle, allowing an amount of waste to be reduced, and having a reduced cost. SOLUTION: When label fragments 4 and 4 constituting the label 1 for the horticulture are laminated, a content A such as seeds of a plant and a bag in which the seeds are stored is sealed and fixed by storing the content in a storing part 4c and 4c between the label fragments 4 and 4, and sealing and fixing mutually facing edge parts. Insertion parts 4b and 4b of the label 1 for the horticulture are inserted into the soil B to insert and set the label 1 so as to form a state suitable for reading an information about the plant, printed on a display part 4a. The label 1 for the horticulture allows the label 1 made of a biodegradable plastic to be biodegraded, and roots of a germinated seedling to extend in various directions.
