PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weed proofing sheet for curing groundcover plants which is usable even for groundcover plants requiring a quantity of period to cover the ground after planted when greening the ground by coverying the ground with the groundcover plants, and inhibits weeds from breeding, and on which the groundcover plants are favorably vegetated. SOLUTION: The weed proofing sheet for curing groundcover plants is formed of nonwoven cloth which is produced by accumulating a lot of continuous fibers made of a thermoplastic polymer containing a polylactic acid polymer, and structured as follows: the continuous fibers are hot-glued with one another by partly melting or softening to retain the shape thereof while the continuous fibers are simply accumulated without mechanically three-dimensionally confounding with one another in a direction of the thickness of the nonwoven fabric; and a lot of through holes are bored through the nonwoven fabric.
