The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for prevention and treatment of cancer comprising, as an active ingredient, an expression or activity inhibitor of amyloid beta precursor protein-binding family B member 1 (APBB1) or to anticancer adjuvants containing an APBB1 expression or activity inhibitor as an active ingredient, and more specifically, the present invention suppresses the expression or activity of APBB1 in cancer stem cells isolated by the activity of ALDH1 in non-small cell lung cancer cells to inhibit the self-renewal ability, invasion and metastatic ability of cancer stem cells, and can improve the radiation sensitivity of the cancer stem cells to be very effectively used for chemotherapy.본 발명은 APBB1(amyloid beta precursor protein-binding family B member 1) 발현 또는 활성 억제제를 유효성분으로 함유하는 암 예방 및 치료용 약학적 조성물 또는 APBB1 발현 또는 활성 억제제를 유효성분으로 함유하는 항암 보조제에 관한 것으로, 보다 구체적으로는 본 발명은 비소세포성 폐암 세포에서 ALDH1의 활성으로 분리된 암줄기세포에서 APBB1 발현 또는 활성을 억제함으로써, 암줄기세포의 자가재생능력, 침윤 및 전이능력을 억제할 수 있고, 암줄기세포의 방사선 민감도를 증진시킬 수 있어, 항암치료에 매우 효과적으로 사용될 수 있을 것이다.
