The present disclosure relates to a wheelchair apparatus transformable into a stretcher, the apparatus including a seat comprising a first end and a second end, a backrest comprising a top end and a bottom end configured to rotate about its bottom end, a footrest comprising a top end and a bottom end configured to rotate about its top end, and at least three sheets configured with the seat, the backrest and the footrest respectively, and configured to move in a traverse direction, wherein rotation of the backrest about its bottom end and rotation of the footrest about its top end allows reclining of the backrest and the footrest and allows transformation of the apparatus into a stretcher, and wherein movement of the sheet in the traverse direction enables automatic transfer of a user from the apparatus to any required position of a seating device such as a bed, a stretcher, a sofa, a car seat and the like.
