Aqueous dispersible polyurethane (I) with linear backbone of alternating hydrophilic and hydrophobic segments, is new, where: both terminal segments (T) of (I) is hydrophobic at each segment of (T), a hydrophilic segment (S1) is directly connected at each segment of (S1), at least a hydrophobic segment (D) is directly connected on at least a side (I) contains at least a hydrophobic segment (P1) the hydrophobic segment (P1) is separated into two segments, when (I) contains many (P1) (I) exhibits at least three hydrophilic segments the ratio of the molecular weights of each hydrophilic segment (S1) to the molecular weight of each hydrophilic segments (P1) is 1:1.4-1:140 the at least two hydrophobic segments (D) is aliphatic diisocyanate residue and at least one of the hydrophilic segment (P1) is a polyether residue with a number average molecular weight of at least 1500 g/mole, or a mixture of different polyurethanes.
