PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical probe including a flexible insertion tube having a distal end for insertion into a body cavity and a channel contained in the insertion tube and configured to convey a fluid to the distal end.SOLUTION: A terminal member is fixed to the distal end of the insertion tube and includes a distal tip configured to contact with tissue in the body cavity. The distal tip has a first diameter. A protruding shoulder part surrounds the distal tip and has a second diameter larger than the first diameter.
