PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cell which collapses in a vertical direction and hardly bends in an intermediate portion in the vertical direction when collapsing in the vertical direction.SOLUTION: A plurality of concaved portions 11c are formed in the side face portion 11a of the airbag 11 of the respective air cells 10, and the respective concaved portions 11c are formed by projecting vertical predetermined ranges of a thin film constituting the side face portion 11a to the inside of the airbag 11 over the whole periphery of the airbag 11 and arranged in different positions in a vertical direction, so that the side face portion 11a of the airbag 11 bends in a plurality of vertical positions in a vertical direction making the respective concaved portions 11c start points when the airbag 11 collapses in the vertical direction. That is, the side face portion 11a of the airbag 11 smoothly deforms in a vertical direction and it is possible to prevent only a part of the side face portion 11a of the airbag 11 from being greatly constricted.COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT【課題】上下方向に軟らかく潰れ、しかも上下方向に潰れる際に上下方向の中間部分で折れ曲がり難いエアーセルを提供する。【解決手段】各エアーセル10の空気袋11の側面部11aには複数の凹状部11cが設けられ、各凹状部11cは側面部11aを構成する薄膜の上下方向所定範囲を空気袋11の全周に亘って空気袋11の内側に突出させることにより形成され、互いに上下方向に異なる位置に配置されているので、空気袋11が上下方向に潰れる際に、空気袋11の側面部11aが各凹状部11cを起点にして上下方向複数箇所で上下方向に屈曲する。即ち、空気袋11の側面部11aが上下方向に円滑に変形し、空気袋11の側面部11aの一部分だけが大きく括れることを防止可能である。【選択図】図1
