PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dispensing method capable of enhancing the degree of freedom in adjusting the number of dose packages.SOLUTION: In the dispensing method, powder and granular material on a groove is intermittently fed from the upstream side to the downstream side of the groove, and when the feed of the powder and granular material is stopped, the powder and granular material is segmented and dispensed by allowing any one of a segmenting member out of a wide segmenting member and a narrow segmenting member which is narrower than the wide segmenting member to be slidably brought into contact with the groove in the intersecting direction.
