PURPOSE: A composition containing casuarinin for treating skin inflammatory diseases is provided to suppress gene expression regulatory transcription factor and to prevent and treat skin inflammatory diseases.CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating skin inflammatory diseases contains casuarinin and pharmaceutically acceptable carriers. Casuarinin is isolated from Hippophae rhamnoides leaves. A food composition for preventing and treating skin inflammation and skin damage contains casuarinin. The pharmaceutical composition is applied by oral or parenteral administration. The daily dosage of the composition is 0.01ug-100 mg/kg.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013본 발명은 비타민나무(Hippophae rhamnoides) 잎으로부터 분리한 카스아리닌(casuarinin)을 유효성분으로 함유하는 피부 염증 질환 치료용 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 의하면, 카스아리닌(casuarinin)는 피부 각질형성세포에서 TNF-α에 의해 유도된 ICAM-1 발현, 단핵세포 부착 및 염증 유발 사이토카인/키모카인의 발현을 억제시키고, 유전자 발현을 조절하는 전사인자의 억제 활성을 보인다. 따라서 본 발명의 카스아리닌(casuarinin)은 피부 염증질환 예방 및 치료용으로 널리 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
