PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for installing supports for a laver net capable of performing operations to drive in the supports utilizing high-pressure water without forming openings in a plurality of sites in the supports. SOLUTION: This apparatus for installing each support P for the laver net is obtained by providing an L-shaped bracket 5 and an operating member 6 for varying dimensions of an interval between the operating member 6 and the bracket 5 in an apparatus body part 2 of the apparatus for installing the supports. The operating member 6 is rotated to increase the dimensions of the interval between the bracket 5 and the operating member 6 when the support P is inserted between the bracket 5 and the operating member 6. After inserting the support P, the operating member 6 is rotated to reduce the dimensions of the interval between the bracket 5 and the operating member 6 and nip the support P between both. A rope R is connected to the operating member 6 and the rope R is pulled down by an operator to thereby rotate the operating member 6 and increase the dimensions of the interval between the bracket 5 and the operating member 6. As a result, the apparatus body part 2 is separated from the support P.
