The invention relates to the manufacture in two elements, three in certain cases, of the desired equipment for staking various young plants or for tensioning plant-training or fencing wires at the selected height and at the desired distance apart. This equipment consists of: 1. A post, preferably made of plastic, having an H-shaped cross-section and comprising, on each face of the web, either stop-pieces, or an extra thickness, which are pierced with holes allowing the positioning of fastener-holding rings at the desired height and without the possibility of them unexpectedly coming off. 2. Rings carrying the clamps intended to receive the wire. 3. Transverse bars also carrying, either stop-pieces, or an extra thickness, which are pierced with holes enabling the rings on which the wires are clamped to be held at the desired transverse distance apart. This equipment is particularly adapted for staking and for plant-training in vineyards, orchards, etc. and for the installation of fences (electric or otherwise). <IMAGE>
