Disclosed is a walking stick with detecting device for visually impaired people comprising: a cane or stick and a device integrated on said cane or stick, the improvement wherein the device comprises an integrated circuit (IC) which is electronically connected to multiple sensors, said IC contains a program having set of parameters to each sensor of multiple sensors in evaluating the signal sensed to each sensor of multiple sensors, each sensor is configured for detecting obstruction, elevation change and light illumination, the signal generated for each sensor of multiple sensors transmitted to the IC, the IC received and evaluates the signal generated from each sensor of multiple sensors and then transmitting the evaluated signal to output devices to produce an audible sound to a speaker and then activating a motor of the device to alert the visually impaired people to change direction.
