PURPOSE: A cicada breeding method is provided to produce larva and imago of a cicada in which artificial breeding is facilitated and which is specialized for use, to facilitate gathering in raised imagoes, and to actualize breeding of the cicada larva and the cicada imago. CONSTITUTION: A cicada breeding method conducts the following steps. Cicada imagoes are placed in a spawn box with a tree inside and spawning is induced to the tree. Cicada larva is obtained through hatching eggs moving the tree in which the spawning is induces into a hatch box. The cicada larva is breed supplying bulbous plants such as potatoes or sweet potatoes as a feed.
