PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a useful hearing system and a robot for use in the hearing system.SOLUTION: A hearing system includes a cartilage conduction part 413 for conducting vibration to an ear cartilage of a person and an accessory 461 worn by a person and covering at least a part of the ear cartilage, and indirectly conducts vibration of the cartilage conduction part via the accessory to the ear cartilage. The cartilage conduction part can be shared by multiple persons and the accessory is individually worn by the multiple persons. The accessory includes an information holding part for holding information for specifying a wearer and, in a state where the cartilage conduction part can conduct vibration to the ear cartilage, the hearing system reads the holding information. When a person guides the cartilage conduction part to an ear cartilage, the hearing system supports the cartilage conduction part so as not to resist thereto. When vibration is conducted to an ear on one side, a finger of a robot is made to follow the movement of the head of a person.
